His legacy
Poem By Great Aunt Mary

Bryce

He was born too young to hold
The warmth of the lights kept him from the cold
His hair was full and dark
His smile brought out that parent's love spark
Arms long and spindly with sweet little hands and feet
He appeared so perfect and complete
He had his daddy's little chin and his momma's sweet heart within
His eyes little and bright, to his loving family he was a precious sight
His little heart beating and brain working hard
Not for a moment could he let down his guard
Two pounds and eight ounces struggling to survive
He brought joy and love to those he touched while he was alive

Letting Go

By Tina Burger

In memory of Robert Joseph Bryce Southwell

I know it's hard to let someone go,
but they'll be better off
that you really know.

For on this earth, they've suffered so much,
and they long for God's healing touch.

Some people feel that death is the end,
but that is when our heavenly lives will begin...

In the fall, the leaves turn colors as they die,
yet this is the time they are at their most bright.....

Even though our hearts will break to say goodbye,
it's alright to lay our heads down and cry.

And in the end, for God says it is so,
It's not the end when we let someone go.
